Prince Edward Island Potato
Museum is equipped with professional, well-organized and detailed displays that have attracted many visitors from all over the world since opening in 1993.
The air-conditioned building houses a
Potato History Exhibit, Machinery Gallery, Potato Hall of Fame,
The Amazing Potato Exhibit and Community Museum. You may also visit the
Resource Room to view videos and do research, and allow time to browse
in our unique gift shop consisting almost entirely of potato items. Some of the most popular items
for sale are its many potato ceramics ie: salt & pepper shakers, sour cream
dishes, mugs and milk pitchers. The museum also sells t-shirts, hats,
sweatshirts sporting different potato logos. Contact

Take a walk down Heritage Lane to visit
other historical buildings on the premises: the Heritage Chapel,
Log Barn, and Little Red Schoolhouse. Negotiations are currently
underway to add more buildings from the past, such as a fire hall
and a telephone office.
